Today has seen our class of 2026 receive some brilliant results. 85% of all grades were at grade 4 or above, the equivalent of a grade C in the previous GCSE system. In addition, nearly 40% of all entries were at grades 7 to 9, the equivalent of a grade A in old money.
Mr Gardner was a well-loved and inspirational member of staff at Greenshaw, who sadly passed away recently. We are celebrating his life at Greenshaw with a memorial event in September.
National recognition for Greenshaw geography department
I am incredibly proud to share that the geography department at Greenshaw High School has been recognised nationally by the Geographical Association for the international fieldwork opportunities and cultural experiences we provide for our students.
As part of our ongoing commitment to high-quality PSHE education, Greenshaw High School recently partnered with TalkConsent to deliver an impactful Active Bystander workshop for our Year 9 students.
Mud, waders and teamwork were all on display this term as our Year 10 geography students headed out to complete their compulsory GCSE river studies fieldwork.
