Extra-curricular activities

At Greenshaw, we are committed to fostering opportunities for our students that extend beyond the curriculum. Taking part in an extra-curricular club provides opportunities for students to acquire new skills, improve confidence, cultivate friendships, discover new interests, and promote leadership qualities. The clubs are offered before school, lunchtimes and after school. 

To give some indication of the opportunities which may be available, the following list shows representative extra-curricular activities provided at Greenshaw:

  • Training and competitions in a wide range of sports including athletics, cricket, tennis, basketball, gymnastics, football, netball, dance; 
  • Theatre trips;
  • South Asian appreciation club
  • Chess club

  • Computer Science club
  • Duke of Edinburgh Award activities and expeditions.
  • Trampolining
  • Year 11 Early 30 and Super 60 sessions.
