Greenshaw's head girl, Abigail Gambel, won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the London Borough of Sutton Community Awards 2016 last week.

Abi (pictured third from the right with Mayor of the London Borough of Sutton, Cllr Muhammad Sadiq) received the recognition for her role as Sutton Ambassador for the Police Cadets and for leading the Sutton Police Cadet team to victory in their Gravesend competition last summer.

The awards are designed to ensure that Sutton’s unsung heroes receive the public recognition and acclaim they deserve for the work they do. Nominations were open to anyone who lives, works, studies or volunteers in the borough. Our congratulations go to Abi on her achievement.
