Year 10 students experience the world of work

During the final week of term, our Year 10 students stepped into the professional world with placements across a diverse range of sectors, including engineering, hair and beauty, finance, dentistry, and digital installations.

These experiences provided invaluable insight into potential career paths while allowing students to hone the employability skills essential for their future success.

To ensure no one missed out, we organised a bespoke virtual work experience program for students whose external placements were shortened or fell through. With support from organisations like the BBC, Marriott Hotels, NHS, and Bowmer & Kirkland, students explored global industries from the classroom. Back on-site, equipped with hard hats and steel-toed boots, they also discovered the hands-on world of construction with an exclusive tour of our new school build.
