A total of 40 students from the Greenshaw chess club participated in the event.

After seven rounds of intense competition, three players – Krishang, Daren, and Patrick – finished on 17 points. Ravek secured second place with 19 points, while Matthew remained unbeaten to take first place with 21 points.

All players who scored 17 points or more have qualified for the regional final in Weybridge, known as the Megafinal. Watch this space!
