A fantastic enrichment day #1

What a fantastic sunny first enrichment day we have had!

Students across the school enjoyed an exciting programme of activities, workshops and educational visits, creating memorable experiences both in and out of the classroom.

Our Year 10 students watched highly successful performances from the Globe Players. Meanwhile, Year 12 students took part in engaging Talk The Talk workshops, developing valuable communication, leadership and confidence-building skills that will support them in their future careers.

Students also represented the school brilliantly on a range of enrichment visits. Year 9s enjoyed a fun-filled day at the coast, making the most of the beach and arcades, while a Year 7 group returned from an exhilarating Ninja Warrior experience, demonstrating teamwork, resilience and determination throughout the day.

Our Year 8 visit to Port Lympne was another highlight. Students had the opportunity to get up close to a variety of incredible animals while learning about wildlife, habitats and conservation. The safari bus experience proved to be a particular favourite, giving everyone an unforgettable opportunity to see the animals in a unique setting.

As the day came to a close, all trips returned safely, bringing to an end a truly successful enrichment day. It has been wonderful to hear about the experiences, achievements and memories our students have made, and we are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, behaviour and positivity they displayed throughout the day.

A huge thank you goes to all of our staff for their hard work in supporting and accompanying a diverse programme of activities and to our students for embracing every opportunity with such enthusiasm.

We are already looking forward to our second enrichment day on Monday 7th July. Please keep an eye out for reminder correspondence with further details.
