A Level results day

A letter for Year 13 students from Head of Year 13, Miss Duce.

A Level results day is on Thursday 13th August 2026. Students can collect results in school from 8.30am to 10.30am. Please arrive at the SRC through the sixth form gate (gate 2).

Should you wish to request an exam script to be reviewed for marking, then you will need to do the following:

  • Students will need to give their permission through the form included in the results envelope and also accessible on the school website under the 'examinations' section.
  • All payments need to be made in person by coming into the school main reception, at which time the permission form can also be submitted. We can only accept card payments, cash will not be accepted.
  • Deadlines apply for review of marking requests. These are set by exam boards.

We wish all students every success in gaining entry to their chosen courses. However, it is inevitable that some students will need to enter the UCAS clearing system. This is a tool which enables students to search for the university courses still available that meet their achieved grades. A number of universities have already announced their clearing places. It is therefore recommended that students research alternative options for clearing ahead of results day, should this be required. Please find a guide here to support you.

Should you have any questions about the above, please email exams@greenshawhigh.co.uk. Please note that the school office will be closed until 4th August, so any requests will be dealt with after then.

Wishing all our year 13 families and students a wonderful rest of the summer break and we very much look forward to seeing you in school on results day.

Miss Duce, Head of Year 13
