National recognition for greenshaw geography department

I am incredibly proud to share that the geography department at Greenshaw High School has been recognised nationally by the Geographical Association for the international fieldwork opportunities and cultural experiences we provide for our students.

The Geographical Association is one of the UK’s leading organisations for geography education, so to have our Moroccan expedition selected and published as a case study is a significant achievement for the department and the school. It is fantastic to see the ambition, planning and commitment behind our international trips recognised beyond Greenshaw.

The article highlights how the expedition gave students the opportunity to experience Morocco’s landscapes, culture and communities first-hand, bringing geography to life in a way that cannot be replicated in the classroom.
