Coding club success in the Astro Pi competition

This term, members of Coding Club took part in the Astro Pi Competition, developing their Python programming skills to create digital artwork inspired by the ocean.

Using combinations of red, green, and blue (RGB) values, students coded and designed colourful images that were displayed to astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

As a special memento of their achievement, participating students received a certificate confirming the location of the ISS at the exact moment their image was displayed in space.

A huge well done to all the students who took part for their creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout the project.
