Dear Parents/Carers,

Unfortunately, I have decided that we will have to postpone tomorrow’s School Athletics event at the David Weir Arena. The forecast is not good, and although not unremittingly bad, there is enough probability of it being wet that it is not sensible to go ahead. I am acutely aware that relying on a weather forecast is risky, but we would have over 1,000 youngsters and staff at the track tomorrow. With there being little cover from rain at the track, I think on balance that this is the best decision.

Hopefully you will appreciate the amount of notice, and we will run a normal school day on Tuesday 11th July. All students should report to school as normal, for 8:30 registration.
