Students head off to India

Two Year 10 students visited our partner school, Sant Nischal Singh Public School  during the Easter break.

Two Year 10 students visited our partner school, Sant Nischal Singh Public School in Yamuna Nagar, in the state of Haryana, during the Easter holidays as part of our Connecting Classrooms project.

Hannah and Sabrina  accompaied Mr Jemson, Miss Doherty and Miss Webb on their visit to the school, where worked at the Indian school and were involved in lessons with the students. They also met staff and governors and joined Mr Jemson on visits to other neighbouring village schools. The girls had the opportunity to visit some of the major tourist attractions in the area, including the Taj Mahal in Agra and the Red Fort in Delhi. In the evenings, they were hosted by Indian families and staff from the school.
