Greenshaw raises funds for Woodlands School

Year 10 student takes the initiative.

On Friday 4th March, Year 10 student Ellie and Miss Doherty visited the Woodlands School in Leatherhead to attend a whole school assembly. They were welcomed by the students, parents, staff and headteacher, Mrs Knight, who accepted a cheque for over £1000 – which was raised from the recent mufti day.

Ellie promoted awareness about the school through assemblies, explaining some of the conditions of the students who attend there, and the development of a sensory learning room which our fundraising will contribute towards. Mrs Knight was extremely grateful to be supported by Greenshaw High School.

Well done Greenshaw, and huge congratulations to Ellie in success with her fundraising initiative.
