Tuesday 25th April from 6.00pm to 7.00pm
The school is holding a training session for parents of children with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) on Tuesday 25th April from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. It will include a 45 minute presentation and an opportunity for questions in an informal and relaxed environment. Tea and coffee will be provided.
The session will be led by Sarah Vardy, a SEN Specialist and teacher with 17 years’ experience of managing, teaching, training and mentoring pupils with special needs in a secondary school environment. She holds the OCR Level 5 diploma in teaching students with specific learning difficulties (SpLD) including dyslexia.
It will offer an opportunity to find out more about how specific learning difficulties may affect your child and what you can do to help and support at home. If you would like to attend, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and your child’s name to let us know if you will be attending.
