NJC Scale SO2/PO2 points 26 – 32 £19,450.80 to £22,633.20 (actual) per annum 
21.75 hours per week, term time plus one week 
Permanent contract 

Start date: October 2021 

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual with an imaginative and intellectually rigorous approach to therapy planning and the ability to engage and motivate our students to join our school as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. Our Speech and Language team are a well-established and integral part of student life at Greenshaw High School, providing therapy and assessments within our Specialist Resourced Provision for students with a language disorder, as well as within the mainstream school. For the right candidate, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference to the lives of our students. 

This post is 21.75 hours per week, working Monday and Friday. The third day will be agreed with the successful candidate upon appointment. 

The successful candidate will have successful post-qualification experience of at least two years, as well as previous experience of working with young people with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and a sound knowledge base in planning effective interventions. Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential. Applicants with previous experience in a similar role are strongly encouraged to apply. 

This role would suit a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, however applications from Band 5 would be considered.
