Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, supporters of the Career Academy UK programme, hosted an inspiring careers forum on Monday 1^st March.

Part of the 'Magic Circle', comprised of the UK's top five law firms, Freshfields welcomed four of our talented Year 13 Career Academy students.

The students were given an introduction to careers in law by Finance Partner, Simon Hall. This was followed by a seminar on business writing skills from Charlotte Sullivan, Senior Personal Assistance in Dispute Resolution. IT Trainers Phil Wheatley and Hugh McBride rounded the morning off with a discussion about IT Structure within a large organisation.

The presentations were then followed by a delicious lunch during which the students enjoyed talking to Freshfields staff from variety of departments about their career routes and choices.
