The Achieve programme

The xl club and the Achieve programme are alternative KS4 provisions that have clearly defined intentions which relate to personal and academic outcomes for students who have been identified within the school. The main aims are that students achieve success and are motivated to continue with their education at post-16, via vocational training or employment-based training, preparing for positive futures.

The main curriculum studied follows The Prince's Trust ‘Achieve’ programme, which promotes a flexible approach, using relevant, experiential learning to support young people to gain a range of personal and employability skills and obtain a nationally recognised Princes Trust qualification.
