Careers advice is provided in-house to ensure that students are fully informed about choices for at Greenshaw sixth form or destinations beyond the school. All students in Year 11 experience a careers interview to ensure that the chosen pathways are appropriate and match the needs of individuals. Year 11 also have presentations about specific careers.

Work experience after GCSE final exams is encouraged and endorsed by the school but should be organised by the student. The managed learning environment, Frog, provides a wealth of information about future pathways for students of all abilities. In addition, all students have access to a software programme, Kudos Inspire, to match suitable careers to personal profiles and also provide information on skills sets, personal qualities and training routes to specific employment.

Sixth form students are guided closely for university application or vocational opportunities. Mrs Sone is available in the office in the sixth form area to address any enquiries related to careers, and guide students accordingly.
