Greenshaw High School

Students cast their votes

Students vote in Sutton Youth Parliament election.

Today at Greenshaw, all students in Years 7 to 12 voted in the Sutton Youth Parliament (SYP) elections. SYP is a platform for young people aged 11 to 19 to be involved in local and national youth issues and decision making that affects young people.

Students have been introduced to the candidates in tutor time by listening to their campaign ideas. Greenshaw has two candidates running – Rose in Year 12 and Oliwia in Year 11. Both students have their own creative ideas to bring about social change for young people.
