Greenshaw High School

Saying goodbye to the Class of 2015

We said farewell to our Year 13s on Wednesday evening.

This year’s prom for our Year 13s on Wednesday 24th June was a fantastic event at the Queen's Stand on Epsom Downs offering superb views over the racecourse.

Our students dressed in style for the glamorous event. They all looked fabulous as they enjoyed a three course meal, followed by a selection of fun awards – which generated great cheering and laughter. The evening ended with some lively music and dancing.

Year 13s started their goodbyes earlier in the week with the leavers' assembly on Tuesday morning, where they enjoyed a presentation celebrating their time at Greenshaw High School. This was followed by a breakfast buffet with their tutors and the sixth form team.

Miss Buchanan, Head of Sixth Form, said: "This was our chance to say a fond farewell and to share some of the many happy memories from the last seven years, including the many contributions made in the last two years from the external students who came to join us for sixth form. There was some reminiscing before wishing them all well for their exciting new adventures ahead. We are looking forward to seeing them back at Greenshaw for results day in August, when we are sure that they will be celebrating an excellent set of A level results."
