Welcome to the Greenshaw High School English Department.

English and Media Studies are delivered throughout the school by a large, innovative and ambitious team of specialists. We aim to nurture, promote and develop pupils’ understanding and enjoyment of these subjects through our methodology and practice. Effective Teaching and Learning is our aim.

We enrich the curriculum through organised trips and visits such as;
 
* Theatre visits to view set text in action
* Poetry workshops and conferences

Mr P Stock is Head of English. Mr J March is 2nd i/c English and i/c Media Studies. Miss A Waldron is Key Stage 4 Coordinator, Miss H O'Reilly is Key Stage 3 Coordinator and Mr P Brown is a KS Coordinator.
