Uniform & PE Kit

Members of the School not in the sixth form must wear school uniform when attending school and for all school functions, unless special permission is granted to the contrary.

School Uniform

Students are ambassadors of the school and are expected to dress and behave in a way that reflects the standards we expect to achieve. All pupils should wear the full school uniform.

Sweatshirts
With school name and logo in House colour.

Shirt 
Black polo shirt with school logo in House colour.

Trousers
Plain black, in a style suitable for school. Straight leg – no flares. Cut to sit on natural waist; low waisted or hipster trousers are not allowed.  A plain 1” black belt may be worn, through belt carriers at the waist if necessary.

Skirts
Plain black, pleated or A-line and knee length. Sits on natural waist, not on the hips. No slits (flaps or vents of 10-12cm at the back are acceptable) No belt.

Socks/Tights
Black or white socks for boys. Natural or black tights, or black or white ankle socks for girls. No leggings. Girls are not allowed to wear long black socks.

Shoes
Black, leather, plain flat shoes sensible for school.  Stiletto heels, sling-back sandals, half shoes, platform sole, trainers, fabric pumps or shoes (including Converse) or boots of any kind are not allowed. Students failing to arrive in regulation school shoes will be issued with black plimsolls until appropriate footwear is worn.

Coats
When worn, outside coats should be plain and smart in appearance. Leather, studs or coats with slogans or other logos printed on the outside are not acceptable.  If parents have any doubts about the appropriateness of a particular coat they should seek advice from the school before purchasing.

School uniform can be ordered in the usual way through the school website with a credit or debit card, or by placing an order in an envelope with the correct money. Orders can then be placed in the school meals box in the foyer. Please note that we no longer accept cheques. Uniform order forms are available for download (right).

PE Kit

Items of PE Kit can be purchased using the Online Payments button, or by printing off the order form below. The form needs to be put in a sealed envelope with the correct money and handed in to the PE Office in the Sports block.

The new PE kit is now available. There is no deadline for students to be using the new kit. Old PE kit can be replaced as and when required.
